Tazia Tower
🌟 History & Origin
Tazia Tower was built in the late 19th century by skilled Muslim craftsmen as a gift to the royal family of Jaisalmer. The design of this tower draws inspiration from the decorative “Tazia” – replicas of mausoleums carried in processions during the Islamic festival of Muharram.
This unique blend of Islamic artistry inside a Rajput palace makes Tazia Tower one of the most remarkable examples of fusion architecture in Rajasthan.
